Short story type of day

Look what I found! *big grin*
I was trying out writing short stories sometime back in July, here's one:
She married him because she felt no one would.. And felt honored that a 'god' asked her to.. And he seemed like a decent guy until she was locked up in his mansion.. Then the beast was unleashed.. From their wedding night he began to rape the breath out of her.. He didn't even try to be romantic.. He literally said 'ain't nobody got time for that' and then tore her clothes and rammed into her from behind.. He did this for 2 full hours and when he had his fill, kicked her out of 'their room' and told her to go sleep in the kitchen..
Note: he lived in a mansion so he clearly had enough room but he specifically said sleep in the kitchen like a bitch; the female dog.
And that became her life.. She slaved herself, (from her waking hours till bedtime) for him.. Her routine was:
*wake up at 5am.. Not a minute past 5am coz he had to be at work by 7am (for some reason he had to be at work early even though he owned the company) and had to have breakfast and take lunch to work.. And boy..the menu was always ridiculous.. It had to be fresh and always a three course.. Also he didn't believe in eating at work when he has 'a wife'
*then once he left she had to DAILY clean the MANSION..(4 bedrooms, 3 sitting rooms, a mini office, the list goes on) Every room in it.. Even though it was always clean..
*after she was done with that she had to do his laundry (his shirts, pants, trad, suits).. He also didn't believe he should give that to the dry cleaners because he had 'a wife'.. And she must not destroy them (in the sense that they should look like he takes them to the dry cleaners)
*she has to prepare his dinner before he got back, (it always varied; so she had to be in time not cold or late) which also entailed a ridiculous menu..
Then if he was in the mood (which was mostly) he'll rape her. They never had sex, just constant rape..
Note: she can't have friends or family over because he says so.. And she can't also go out or work because he says so..
She's like Rapunzel but instead of the wicked step mother she has a beastly husband who literally rapes her for his pleasure..
Then the biggest of all misfortunes happened.. She became pregnant.. And she was on the pill! Because he told her he didn't want kids! Boy she cried and cried... How could she tell him she was pregnant.. Moreover how could she bring a child or children (if they were twins; which she prayed against though) into this toxic situation she found herself.. She didn't have any money even though he was extremely rich because he never gave her any and didn't let her work..
So she decided to keep it a secret because she felt if he doesn't know he won't make her abort it or beat the living shit out of her for getting pregnant (like it was her fault)! But how long could she keep it a secret? She would eventually start to show..
You are probably wondering who does the groceries? Well he makes her buy it in bulk every first weekend in the month, makes the driver take her to the market and then brings her straight back home..and she must not exceed the money he gives her, she must use her initiative at the market..
Back to her pregnant situation.. At 4 months she began to show.. He was mad.. Mad at her.. Mad at himself.. Kept calling her names.. He even kicked her twice in the tummy.. Then his madness became disgust.. He was disgusted with her.. He stopped raping her and then started bringing girls home.. He'll make her cook for them and then she'll hear him have sex with them.. (them in the sense that he always had threesomes). And when they asked who she was he'll say she's the maid..This went on for the remaining period of her pregnancy...
She was frail and unkept.. He barley let her go for checkups at the hospital.. She cried herself to sleep on most days because she wondered how her life would be when the pregnancy time was up..
With love, theInspiredCutiee 

Emma Gonzalez

I am usually all for honesty; I wrote this piece for one the blogs I feature in, but apparently it couldn’t fly because it didn’t centre on an African, (which is good, we got to celebrate Africa). ‘No worries', I said to myself, 'I wrote it, Emma Gonzalez inspires me, so, ama share it here'… While valentine’s festivities for the year was in the air, students of Majory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida were experiencing the most memorable days of their youthful lives; a fellow student of the above named school went on a rage and killed seventeen people. Seventeen lives were lost because one unstable person had his hands on a weapon of destruction. This event is not just a traumatic one for those involved, but more of an uproar; come on, its rational for anyone in this situation to be livid. Having seen clips of the incident, watched the town hall meeting aired by CNN, read tributes, speeches, and the ever trending hashtags #WeCallBS #NotAgain, it’s amazi...

Welcome to March!

March in my opinion simply means purpose, when you march you are heading somewhere, it’s like a movement to something there, so, the Inspired Cutiee’s theme for this month is Purpose. March is the third month, the number three is also a very significant number; Jesus’s three days from crucifixion to death to resurrection, The Trinity of our faith, etc. For all I know, you probably have some symbolic attachment to the number three. PS: I want three children, hehe. I have so many plans laid out; I want to literally march to lose weight, I want to complete a project I’m working on then kick start the next, so many to enumerate… But again, I refuse to be overwhelmed, I have the best support system. This month is the best month yet! However, these are some tips for conquering this Third Purposeful Month: 1.      Always ask yourself why; Why am I doing whatever I am doing; because the answer to this why directs you to a goal/end (either negative or ...

Your Isaac

I always marvel at Abraham's faith. That man went through a lot. I ask myself if I'm capable of enduring one tenth of what he went through.. (Genesis 12 and 22) After waiting for years for a child, God eventually gave him one, and then God said he should sacrifice him.. Every time I read this passage (Genesis 22:2) I take a pause, I'm like 'hollup hollup, whatasay??'. I'm always like God please don't give me such a test oh; because I'll legit fail. 😖 Notice in Gensis 22:1; says 'After all this, God tested Abraham' (The Message). Its clearly says after all what Abraham went through God tested him, test is in past tense; meaning when Abraham was encountering such it wasn't a test for him. We read it now as a test; but for him it was life, real life! Not African Magic or Telemundo.. Lol. What's your Isaac I ask? It doesn't have to be your child.. Lol. It can be your time, your communion with God, or time with other belie...
