The SS 5

If you’ve been following these series, you know they started off as a rant, but I decided to be inspiring, (as usual, hehe). If you haven’t (where have you been!) – you can read the Kick OffPart 1Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4

I mentioned in Part 3, ‘myth 3 would be discussed later’, so, *drum rolls* here we are…

But first, a conclusion of the list from Genesis 2: 8-17:

5. Parameters: God is an unlimited being, but we (myself inclusive) are limited, which is a fact and the truth. Yes, He is my father and I am created in His image, but I am not Him, He is in me to help me. The rules He gives, are not for Him, they exist for my good, they are there for my protection. 1 Corinthians 10:23 ‘Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial…not everything is constructive’

But…

·         What if it’s too late, and I have lived my life by what others say and not by what God says? What if I am in the wrong relationship already?

This is classic myth three.

It is never too late. As long as there’s life, there is hope.

I need to let God have His way and fill me up, fill me up with all that He wants in me before I can live the life He ordained, before I can have that right relationship, before that relationship can be beneficial.

I have to have the right relationship goals with Him first before I can meet that person, He has to be the One first, before He can lead or introduce me to the one for me.

With this knowledge, and consistently spending time with Him (God); through study of His word and pray, through accountability by organisms of God and fellowship with other believers, even if the lies of the enemy come, they can only stay on the surface of my being, they can’t penetrate.
Always note:

Therefore, I urge you; go see a movie on your own, view God’s creations via landscapes and be mesmerised, travel, take pictures, have fun, laugh hard, bask in God’s presence.

I hope you are blessed (and reminded to be blessed) as much as I was writing this.

With love,
TheInspiredCutiee 😘

Short story type of day

I wrote this while I was in church (please don't judge me , it just popped in my mind and I began to write) She felt something slowly tickle her face, she ignored it the first and second time, then it began to move more rapidly than before. She woke up in a startle, disoriented and wondered what could have been causing this, it felt like it was on her face, she touched her face and it was wet, 'what's this?' she asked herself because it was dark. She quickly jumped up and flicked the switch on.. She screamed when she saw it was blood! The small dark spot on her pillow and on her nightie (when she sat up) were both evidence that she was bleeding from her nose. 'No, no not again' she cried. 'This can't be happening again' she said! Then she quickly remembered she was to tilt her head up whenever her nose began to bleed, she tilted her head and waited a couple of minutes but it didn't stop. She began to panic because she was loosin...

The Halo Effect

Are you exhibiting the halo effect? Do you buy products because of the celebrity representing it? Or stay in a relationship that is wrong because of one good quality? We are all attracted to people all the time. What attracts us to others? And what attracts you? When you meet someone for the first time you draw a conclusion about them, subconsciously you decide whether you like them or not. BUT is it possible that one trait or aspect of one's character can influence your perception about them? Honestly, I judge a person's character based on their physical appearance, its a quick judgment that is very likely inaccurate. The good thing is that once I begin to have a conversation, I realize there's more to the person than just physical looks. (Well that's for those that are actually more than their looks). The halo effect can cloud our judgment even when we know about it. When one good quality spills its appeal unto other elements of a per...
