As we countdown hours to the end of the year, in every corner there seem to be lists of things that happened this year; they maybe favorite or worsts, or top experiences or things that made history, sha lists. (you get my drift right?). I don't think I have sat down to draw up a 'list' well expect when I was applying for a job and they specifically said give 10 reasons why we should hire you. Heyy!!   Public Holidays on Mondays are a bliss. I woke up like 9am, had my bath like 5pm; I have barely moved from one spot sef *smiles sheepishly* Anyway, I decided to watch this movie ' The Lobster ' written and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. (Yeah if you've seen it, I know I carried last, and if you haven't; hehe jokes on you). It stars Collins Farrell as David (he had to be fat for this character, well not fat but not regular Collins either, lol. P.S: you got to love his accent) and Rachael Weisz as the short sighted woman, and some other actors and actresses. When someone asked me what the movie was about I said 'its not something to be described in a few words' What intrigued me and I decided to see it was the caption; An unconventional love story. Jessica Jones review  These reviews have been overdue. And since I'm on break from work, lemme just do it! #NIKE (smiles sheepishly) I downloaded the first season on the 28th of November 2015 (because Netflix and marathon *wink*). It stars Krysten Ritter (I loved her in CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC , although its sad that DON'T TRUST THE B IN APARTMENT 23 didn't work out) as Jessica Jones, and the Adonis; Mike Colter (his body is amazeeeeee balls!) as Luke Cage.  And some other really cool actors and actresses. (Lol) To be honest, in as much as Marvel comics are a delight, I decided to watch Jessica Jones because girl power (grins). And she has this aura of darkness and nonchalant behavior towards life but opened her heart to one or two people. Thank God it's Friday and Christmas. Before I proceed *screams MERRY CHRISTMAS* Pastor Sam Adeyemi says spend Christmas Day with your family so Daystar Christian Center doesn't hold Christmas Day service on this day except it falls on a Sunday. My mom and I have argued on this issue every Christmas to be honest, I don't see why we must go to church on this day. (Although I'm a firm supporter of fellowship with other believers) I just don't see why we must attend on Christmas Day. Well she always wins every argument. So her decision is always final. You know what crosses my mind every Christmas day? Imagine if December wasn't the actual month Jesus was born?
