The MIND

I have come to the conclusion that the mind is the most powerful thing. I'm sure you are thinking 'hollup, hollup how can you conclude at the beginning of the post, isn't that jumping into conclusion' *smiles sheepishly* but mehn I have been asking myself what the most powerful thing in the body is? Some say its the tongue, but I believe its the mind.

This morning my mom asked me what my biggest fear was, I replied and said my mind.
I am afraid of the depth and length of my mind.
The mind is very powerful. It can do and undo and even redo. Lol.

Last week I had panic attacks on different days; because I kept thinking of so many awful things that were allegedly going to happen. Ladies and gentlemen none of what I was thinking of came to pass!!!.

Romans 12:2 says And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
Even the Bible states how important renewal of the mind is, or else you'll find yourself conforming to evil practices of this world.

My brother said; 'The mind is the only thing to be fed'. Constant feeding I must add.
How can you feed your mind? (note: I mean positive feeding because there is a negative form of feeding) Through reading of the Holy Book,(the Bible) intellectual articles, books or poems that inspire, listening to healthy audio(gospel messages or songs or hymns) or watching shows that positively impact your life.

Also, like the picture above says, let's learn to chill and relax. Not everything happens the way we picture it, and that can be a good thing sometimes.

With love, theInspiredCutiee 

The SS 4

If you’ve been following these series, you know they started off as a rant, but I decided to be inspiring, (as usual, hehe). If you haven’t (where have you been!) – you can read the Kick Off , Part 1 , Part 2 , Part 3 . I concluded part 3 saying watch out for myth 3… (still watch out!) ‘I thrive on purpose’, ‘I exist because of purpose’, so what then are the things I should be conscious of during this phase? Literally what lessons should I gather from my singleness? This requires a critical look at Genesis 2: 8-17: 1.       Place: God has a purpose for every place He puts me, He wants me to see, learn something before He can show me the next step. For example; He placed me in my family for a reason. Ironically many (myself inclusive) place ourselves and source for a person or people to validate this place we’ve placed ourselves. Even more sadly, many (myself inclusive) fight the place God has placed us. 2.      Pu...

List

As we countdown hours to the end of the year, in every corner there seem to be lists of things that happened this year; they maybe favorite or worsts, or top experiences or things that made history, sha lists. (you get my drift right?). I don't think I have sat down to draw up a 'list' well expect when I was applying for a job and they specifically said give 10 reasons why we should hire you. Yeah that happened. Lol. So I have been thinking, really thinking. A whole lot can happen in a year, emphasis on  'whole lot'. Except you write every detail of what happens daily and not miss a day (I wonder if there are people that are this deep) you are bound to forget some things. The movie 'INSIDE OUT' depicted how our mind works. (If you've seen it; you have an idea of what I'm talking about, if you've not I don't know what you are waiting for) There are too many things that have happened this year for me as an individual, in fact as a...

Short story type of day

I wrote this while I was in church (please don't judge me , it just popped in my mind and I began to write) She felt something slowly tickle her face, she ignored it the first and second time, then it began to move more rapidly than before. She woke up in a startle, disoriented and wondered what could have been causing this, it felt like it was on her face, she touched her face and it was wet, 'what's this?' she asked herself because it was dark. She quickly jumped up and flicked the switch on.. She screamed when she saw it was blood! The small dark spot on her pillow and on her nightie (when she sat up) were both evidence that she was bleeding from her nose. 'No, no not again' she cried. 'This can't be happening again' she said! Then she quickly remembered she was to tilt her head up whenever her nose began to bleed, she tilted her head and waited a couple of minutes but it didn't stop. She began to panic because she was loosin...
