Merry Christmas from Kolade

Down in a cradle the baby lay
Our saviour has been born today
Wise men from orient came with gold
To see the wonder and mystery  that the angel told
What a wonderful glory for the world to behold
A new Chapter is about to Unfold
A son who has come to save millions of souls
Mary and Joseph were tenderly rocking A king stood by and was scheming and plotting
He and his nobles were patiently watching
So the wise men they tried to convince
With treasures and pleasure and so many things
They sent them on a brutal mission to end the hope of all the nations
On their way they met the angel
Who warned them and gave them good counsel
They went away ignoring the king to see the King of kings
So we have set a date apart
To express the Joy that is in our heart
With hymns and messages to remind us of the reason for the season
We gather together to celebrate this special occasion
One central theme of the hymns we sing
Is the message of hope,Joy and Love this baby brings
So as we celebrate this Christmas
Let the message of hope through you be spread
Let the Joy of Christ on others be shared
Make your love bring peace to those who are scared
Remember! There are many out there who cannot join in the celebration
Take out time to say a prayer for them and thank God for the privilege you have
Don't let anything spoil your Joy
Again remember that Christ is the reason for the season 
Do something that will show that you Love Him, because He loves you

I always marvel at Abraham's faith. That man went through a lot. I ask myself if I'm capable of enduring one tenth of what he went through.. (Genesis 12 and 22) After waiting for years for a child, God eventually gave him one, and then God said he should sacrifice him.. Every time I read this passage (Genesis 22:2) I take a pause, I'm like 'hollup hollup, whatasay??'. I'm always like God please don't give me such a test oh; because I'll legit fail. 😖 Notice in Gensis 22:1; says 'After all this, God tested Abraham' (The Message). Its clearly says after all what Abraham went through God tested him, test is in past tense; meaning when Abraham was encountering such it wasn't a test for him. We read it now as a test; but for him it was life, real life! Not African Magic or Telemundo.. Lol. What's your Isaac I ask? It doesn't have to be your child.. Lol. Star Struck!

Hmmm… My people, na so I see my celebrity crushes… Na so I stand at attention Na so my mouth no gree move Na so I just dey look Chai! My brain no even boot to take picture… Na so I dull! Ha-ha! I wrote this poem on the spur of writing this post. I should actually give you the gist… Scene 1 I needed to use the ATM, so, I decided to go the nearest one around my office, I said to myself ‘this won’t take time, no need to carry phone’, that’s how I left my phone in the office oh. I got to the ATM, there were a couple of people, so I joined the queue, that’s how a black jeep rolled into the parking lot.
