In case you missed it, Here's Part 1
The next step is Look Out!
Verse 20 of Luke 15 says the father saw him while he was still a long way off (paraphrased)
The father was looking continuously for the son for him to have spotted him from a distance; it wasn't a coincidence that he saw his son from afar. He had been consistently looking.
The father was looking continuously for the son for him to have spotted him from a distance; it wasn't a coincidence that he saw his son from afar. He had been consistently looking.
The charge is that we as individuals should also look out. There's someone who needs you. They might not come physically and say help me, its you that has to be sensitive to know who God is bringing or had put in your path.
It also requires consistency, because the father consistently looked out in anticipation for his son; its not like the son called him and said 'Dad expect me home soon'.
Not everything is said through words, take time out to genuinely be concerned about someone this week.
God bless you.
With love, theInspiredCutiee
